Built by neighbors, for neighbors
In 2023 Three Rivers lost its only pharmacy. Suddenly, picking up a prescription meant a round trip of an hour or more down the canyon, or waiting on mail order with no pharmacist to talk to.
For older residents, busy families and anyone who cannot easily drive, that was more than an inconvenience. It meant extra gas money, missed doses and long trips on mountain roads.
So local residents came together and created Main Fork Pharmacy as a nonprofit, so the town would always have a pharmacy of its own. We are named after the Main Fork of the Kaweah River that runs through our community.
